The gold-standard for assault rifles throughout the Call of Duty franchise's history, this version of the AK-47 has its drawbacks.
Arguably the most well-known gun in the world, the iteration of the AK-47 within Call of Duty Warzone has had mixed reviews. Some argue that it is underwhelming as a higher-level unlock, but others say that it goes through the same growing pains as upgrading any other gun. As the world’s flagship assault rifle, the expectations for the AK-47 are established with deserved precedent.
- Muzzle – Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel – 23.0″ Romanian
- Laser – Tac Laser
- Optic – G.I. Mini Reflex or PBX Holo 7 Sight or VLK 3.0x Optic
- Ammunition – 40 Round Mags
The monolithic suppressor, a must in Warzone, effectively increases range. The 23.0″ Romanian is an incredibly versatile attachment, as it boosts damage range while simultaneously improving recoil. The Tac Laser, another standard feature, increases ADS speed and walking stability. Sights, as they tend to be, are a matter of personal preference. 40 round mags, although they can hinder movement a bit, boost round capacity incredibly well.
Damage: In terms of both range and per-shot damage, the AK-47 excels
Recoil: The recoil pattern on the AK-47 can be downright obnoxious at times.
Mobility: Even as an assault rifle, the AK-47 can be downright cumbersome in terms of movement.
